The Kings Canyon &
Sequoia National Park
Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon lie in the southern Sierra Nevada, just east of the San Joaquin Valley.
Because the elevations vary so do the activities. The range of elevation varies from 1300' to 14,494' so depending on the season and elevation you will have very different climates and a diverse pool of activities to choose from.
You could literally come back every year in different spots or different seasons and not have the same vacation experience.
Picnicking, hiking, wildlife viewing, camping, strolling under the sequoias, and taking in the parks' breathtaking views are just some of the popular visitor activities.
