About Honor

Tokyo has been my home since 2001 with one year out in Singapore and a couple of months in the UK. Everyone seeks their own eutopia and, so far at least, Tokyo is the closest thing for me.

I talk to many people who worry about visiting or staying in Tokyo. Hopefully this site and my own Tokyotopia.com will help to change that! If you decide not to come because you think it will be too difficult, too expensive, too busy or too different, you're missing out on so much. And if you think it's just a city like any other, I have to disagree.

Yes, I'm biased. I know that. Still - I will show you some of the info you won't find in your off the shelf travel guides and give you some personal insights into what's hot and what's not in Tokyo.
