Red Rocks from Dinosour Ridge
My wife and I visited here last summer to see a 311 concert. It was the most amazing place to experience a music show. A few things to plan for,
1. It seems to rain in the late afternoon so you may want to pack a poncho.
2. Not a lot to do in Morrison the town Red Rocks is by. I did have the best southwest breakfast burrito at a diner there, Tnt Country Kitchen, it had an outdoor eating area that was great in July to sit outside in the morning and that burrito was excellent, the price was great. The only thing about sitting outside was that you may have to share the space with a pesky fly or two. They have indoor seating as well.
3. Dinosaur Ridge was not what my wife and I expected. She didn't like the hike up it because she doesn't like "being so high up". There was a beautiful view from up there though.
